Angelo Van Dyk is an integral part of the East London wine scene & we couldn’t be more stoked for him to showcase his own wines, Yo El Rey. "I, the King" was inspired by a young Pablo Picasso who signed an early self-portrait with this tagline. It's become a mantra that has propelled Angelo’s wild idea to make and produce wine, and it is a romantic reminder to always believe in both oneself and one's dreams.
During this event we will taste four of his wines from South Africa as he talks us through how he selects his farmers, preparing for this new years’ harvest, as well as his anthropic project the Wasted Wine Club.
It is sure to be an intimate, informative & inspiring evening, with some lovely wines & people included!
