It’s time for our first big social gathering of the year! Playing off the success of our chef sessions last summer, we are thrilled to kick off 2026 with Dmitry Douban, currently manning the pans at Sessions Arts Club - one of the city’s most celebrated contemporary dining spaces known for its fusion of art, design and precise ingredient-led dishes.

We have managed to find Dmitry in a playful mood, as he has innovated a fun, flavourful trip around the world via three ceviches, all celebrating the pristine seafood of Oeno Maris and his laser sharp sense of flavour. Dmitry will be casually dishing them up for you out front on our terrace on The Bend, Newington Green.

On the evening you can expect a highly social, casual format … yamming back some delicious ceviche, chatting over which one you prefer most, and chasing it up with the curated wine list and some cervejas. Oeno Maris is putting together a special list of wines BTG from the Iberian peninsula - a perfect pairing with the profile of the dishes. Good times for sure.

Peru: Sea Bream, Leche de Tigre, Ají Amarillo, Toasted Corn

Mexico: Blue Fin Tuna, Blue Corn Tostada, Avocado, Crispy Leek.

Japan: Hamachi, Yuzu Tiger Milk, Toasted Nori, Shiso

Tickets are essential… and to get you started, each £30 ticket per person comes with your choice of two ceviche. You will have the option then to add on more ceviche portions, the oysters & drinks when you order at the event, should you wish. If you are more than one person, please do assure you get a ticket online for each guest!

Note: Food served from 5:30-8:30pm. This will be a highly attended social event. Plan to be outdoors, maybe even stand & eat, though indoor seating is available, first come, first serve. Due to the size of our venue & specifics of the menu, apologies, but dietary requirements can not be catered to (though naturally this menu leans gluten & nut free).

Dmitry Douban is an esteemed chef whose career has taken him through some of the city’s most celebrated kitchens — Sessions Arts Club, Evelyn’s Table, and Hide among them. Shaped by a philosophy of simplicity, precision, and ingredient-led cooking, his food draws on refined technique while always letting the produce lead the palette. For this pop-up, he brings that same rigour to something more elemental: the freshest fish, cured and served the way tradition intended.
