Oeno Maris Nights: "Prawn" with Chef Ed Wilson | 22nd of June | 5-9pm
Let’s have a little celebration for the Summer Solstice shall we? Oeno Maris is firing up the grills out front, and for this special event none other than Chef Ed Wilson of beloved neighbourhood restaurant Brawn on Columbia Road will be designing, cooking & serving up a bespoke menu showcasing Oeno Maris' seafood, as only he can.
In the event you don’t know Ed Wilson already, you have probably felt his influence over London’s food & wine scene. We came across this quote and couldn’t describe Ed any finer ourselves - “his food offerings occupy a space between neighbourhood comfort nosh and precise, fine dining; the wines orbit a planet all their own.” Allllll the feeelz.
If you haven’t been to one of these events before, they are highly attended, highly social indoor / outdoor events where we celebrate food & drink after shop hours. Ed, alongside the fishmongers of Oeno Maris, will cook up the menu out front & we will offer a wine list BTG / bottle to wash it back with. Always a great time.
Your ticket gets your name on the guest list and can be redeemed for two glasses of wine of your choice. Food menu items will be purchased at the event.
Note, dress for the weather. Seating is first come, first serve, not guaranteed. You can arrive any time after 5pm; we will close at 9pm. There is a chance some items may sell out throughout in the evening.

More about Ed: Ed has been foundational to the modern food and wine style we have come to know in East London, surging during his time as head chef at Terroirs - one of the first to bring low intervention wine and seasonal small plates into focus.
Ed’s discerning taste transpires in the genuine and thoughtful food served at Hackney’s near perfect neighbourhood restaurant Brawn & Margate’s more recently opened Sargasso, but his interests don’t end there. From design to music, via hospitality and wine, Ed seems to move effortlessly between disciplines. Through the years he has built a community of creatives, spinning up regional fests blending food, wine and music, like Ricci Weekender in Sicily and Brawnswood in the UK - all while bringing attention to lesser known wine regions and producers way before anyone else in London. Throughout his career, he has leveraged his studies in industrial design to open more than 10 restaurants. He is beyond inspirational and kind, of exceptional good taste, and we are delighted to have him as a friend of Oeno Maris.
