Experienced Fishmonger
Do you have a passion for fish butchery and Japanese fish preparation? We have a unique opportunity to gain experience working alongside Master Fishmonger Dan Murphy, MFS.
Hours: Friday 11-7, Saturday 8-6, Sunday 9-5 (26 hours weekly); option for more hours supporting ticketed and private events
Basic Duties:
Prepare and present fish and shellfish products to the highest of standards.
Sell products to the members of our community in our retail shop.
Assist in the set up and clean down
Back up other team members by servicing eat-in diners, etc.
Support of Food Hygiene best practices
The Ideal Candidate will:
Possess first class customer service skills
Have experience / apprenticeship in fishmongery, including filleting and other knife skills.
Be knowledgeable about a range of fish & shellfish and the various techniques to prepare them
Be excited about fish! Grilling, baking, Japanese sashimi, etc.

Hours: Friday 12-6:30, Saturday 12-5:30, Sunday 12-4 (16 hours weekly); opportunity for more during events
Basic Duties:
Serve dine in customers (wine, sake, beer by the glass as well as oysters, sashimi)
Support sales in our retail wine shop
Increase knowledge of low intervention wines and boutique sake breweries, attend trade tastings, and provide recommendations to expand our curated selection
